Viburnum odoratissimum 'Emerald Lustre'

A fast growing evergreen shrub which produces bright green glossy leaves which darken in colour with age with coppery/bronze new growth.  Mature plants produce clusters of small white perfumed flowers in late Spring followed by red berries that turn black.  This variety grows well in warmer climates.

**Not much difference between these and the straight Viburnum odoratissimum variety.  Emerald Lustre have more lush shinier leaves which gives them a more tropical look.  Leaf size and habit are the same.

Spacing: Plant these every 70cm apart for a faster forming hedge or further apart for a slower forming hedge.

Positioning: Full sun to part shade

Perfect for: Hedges, screening, cut foliage, windbreak

Tolerances: Can be frost sensitive

Growth Rate: Moderate to Fast
