Cupressus sempervirens Stricta - Pencil Pine, Candle Pine, Mediteranian Italian Pencil Pine

The Stricta Pencil Pine Conifer has aromatic deep green foliage in an upright habit.  It can form a wider base than the Glauca which broadens with age, but is a faster grower.

Spacing: Plant every 50cm apart for a screen

Growth Size: Approx 6m tall in the first 10 years then thereafter can grow up to 15m tall x 1.5m wide

Positioning: Full sun to part shade in well draining soil

Temperament: Hardy and Frost, drought, wind, salt tolerant

Perfect for: Narrow screening, narrow garden beds, formal gardens, lining driveways
