Delivery Information
Everything you need to know about receiving your Egardens plants
PLEASE NOTE: FREIGHT DELIVERY
Our deliveries are via FREIGHT (TRUCK) not Australia Post. Deliveries take place Monday to Friday by either our Supplier's plant freighter or external plant freighters, usually within or around 7 days of making payment.
How Our Delivery Works
- Kerb-side Drop OffThe trucks are large and cannot maneuver into driveways. Delivery is kerb-side at the front of your property.
- Driver AssistanceIf you are ordering a large number of plant or medium to large bag sizes, the driver will require assistance to unload. See Assistance Required for Unloading below. The delivery driver will help move plants to a safe location at the front of your property but cannot walk plants to your planting location.
- Not Home?If you are not home at the time of delivery, the driver can leave the plants in a safe location within your front boundary. This is usually only for smaller pot sizes. Larger bag sizes do in most cases require someone to be there to assist the driver to unload.
- TimelineDeliveries are usually within or around 7 days of making payment, Monday to Friday only. We'll confirm your specific delivery date via email after your order.
Assistance Required for Unloading:
- 400mm/45L, 75L or 100L bags: 1 person
- 200L bags: 2-3 people
- 300L + 400L bags: Machinery to assist is necessary + in most cases crane delivery

⚠️ Important Notes on Delivery Costs
Delivery costs will be confirmed to you in an email following placing your order. The below prices are approximate and based on supplying plants within your city. Large bag sizes (200L, 300L & 400L) may incur higher delivery costs due to specialised crane trucks and machinery requirements. Interstate orders are quoted separately and are more costly.
Important Information
Large Bag Sizes (200L, 300L & 400L)
Delivery costs can be significantly more expensive due to the need for specialised trucks. A crane truck is usually required for 300L/400L bags, and machinery at your end may be needed to further move the bags to your planting location.
Local vs Interstate Sourcing
We prioritise sourcing plants from local growers within your city to keep delivery costs down. Plants freighted from outside your city or interstate need to be quoted separately and are more costly.
Delivery Confirmation
After you place your order, we'll send you an email confirming your exact delivery costs and estimated delivery timeframe. This allows us to account for your specific location, plant quantities, and pot sizes.
Biosecurity Requirements
We are unable to freight from interstate to Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Tasmania due to biosecurity laws. Please contact us to discuss what plants we can source locally for your area.
