The Camellia is a beautiful flowering evergreen shrub with glossy dark green foliage producing masses of flowers in autumn through winter.

More tolerable to sunny positions than Camellia japonica

Growth size: Most varieties 3-5m h x 2-3m w but can be kept 1-3m as a formal hedge.

Spacing: Plant every 70cm apart

Positioning: Full sun to part shade.

Temperament: Avoid excessive heat.

Perfect for: Hedging, screening, topiaries, pots, troughs.
